Sentiment leaning fearful — cautiously favorable for accumulation.
What are other investors doing right now?
The Investor Behavior Gauge combines three real-time signals to show what other market participants are doing. It answers a simple question: is the crowd fearful or greedy right now?
A composite sentiment index from 0 (extreme fear) to 100 (extreme greed). Incorporates volatility, market momentum, social media activity, and surveys. For conviction holders, extreme fear is historically a buying opportunity.
The cost of holding leveraged perpetual futures positions. Positive rates mean longs pay shorts (bullish consensus). Negative rates mean shorts pay longs (bearish consensus). Extreme positive rates signal overleveraged longs ripe for liquidation.
Net daily inflows/outflows across US spot Bitcoin ETFs. Large sustained inflows can signal institutional FOMO in late-cycle euphoria. Large outflows can signal institutional capitulation, which historically marks bottoms.
Signals are weighted and combined. When 60%+ of weighted signals are green, the market is "Capitulating" (fear dominant = opportunity). When 60%+ are red, the market is "Frothy" (greed dominant = caution). This is viewed from a conviction holder perspective: other people's fear is your opportunity.
